A2E, or Aspire to Excellence, is a curriculum designed to help students explore their academic interests and succeed in higher education. The A2E framework aligns with our Benedictine values and includes seven foundational learning goals: academic excellence, spiritual growth, social development, and compassionate service. A2E gives students the opportunity for advanced academic work, including collegiate courses and an Honors capstone project. Advanced Academics: Students can enroll in Advanced Placement (AP) or Honors courses, with many Upper School students taking multiple AP or Honors classes. Collegiate Courses: The curriculum allows for opportunities to take collegiate courses at Saint John’s University and the College of Saint Benedict. Senior Capstone: As part of achieving “Honors” distinction, students complete an interdisciplinary senior capstone project, which involves research, writing, and presentation.
