Every student takes part in our Fine Arts Program at Saint John’s Prep. Our well-rounded curriculum supports the development of appreciation and passion for fine arts that will last a lifetime.
Saint John’s Prep offers a spirited array of varsity and intramural sports. Our programs are inclusive with a strong emphasis on teamwork. Our sports teams give Prep students the opportunity to grow interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Tyler Ames teaches theology to upper school students and is originally from Duluth, Minnesota. He earned his Associate of Arts from Lake Superior College, his Bachelor’s degree from Bethel University, and his Master’s from Luther Seminary, where he is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity.
Mr. Ames has worked with churches, summer camps, and environmental education programs across the country. When he’s not teaching, he enjoys playing sports like basketball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, Spikeball and golf. You can also find him outside enjoying nature via fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing and snowboarding.
