Need-based tuition assistance

We do not have a one-size-fits-all tuition. In fact, our tuition is as dynamic as our students and families. We offer a range of tuition levels that align with a variety of financial situations.

Our financial assistance program allows families to apply annually for reduced tuition for grades 6-12. We encourage families to apply each year, and our partner, , helps us evaluate each family’s ability to contribute to education expenses.

WHAT IS TUITION Assistance?

Saint John’s Prep proudly offers tuition assistance. Tuition at Saint John’s Prep is not a “One-size-fits all.” In fact, tuition for families range from 40-90% of the full cost of education. After an , tuition rates may be adjusted to meet your family’s unique financial situation. No family attending Saint John’s Prep pays the full cost of education.

Our need-based tuition assistance program allows families to apply for reduced tuition (grades 6-12), making an education at Saint John’s Prep affordable for qualified students and their families.

HOW DOES TUITION assistance WORK?

All families entering grades 6-12 are . Our goal is to make a college preparatory education accessible for as many hard-working students and families as possible. To make a determination as to a family’s eligibility for tuition assistance, a number of factors are taken into consideration as to what a family can be expected to pay. Those factors include but are not limited to: income, assets, unusual expenses, and the number of students in the family enrolled in tuition based schools.

An application for tuition assistance does not affect the admission process. Regardless of financial need, parents should initiate the admission process as early as possible. Families are only eligible to apply for tuition assistance after they have applied and been accepted for admission to the school.

HOW DO I APPLY FOR TUITION assistance?

To assess a family’s eligibility, we partner with Clarity Financial Aid, a third-party provider used by schools across the country. Clarity calculates what a family can reasonably be expected to pay and passes that information along to Saint John’s Prep. That information is used as a guide; however, Saint John’s Prep retains the right to make its own adjustments and recalculations in determining the financial assistance award.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR TUITION assistance?

Anyone who is interested in attending Saint John’s Prep once they have formally applied and been accepted.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE SPECIAL
FAMILY CIRCUMSTANCES?

When looking at the needs of families applying for aid, Saint John’s Prep considers the financial aid of both parents/guardians. Therefore, in the case of separated or divorced parents, both parents/guardians are asked to fill out a. If either parent has remarried, the school also considers the financial circumstance of the stepparents, always bearing in mind the obligation of that stepparent to his or her natural children, if any.

ARE SOME FAMILIES AWARDED FULL TUITION?

We believe it is important that all families make a financial investment in their child’s education. By offering tuition assistance, we are sharing in that investment with you. It would require extraordinary circumstances for a family to receive assistance lower than the published ranges.

*Amount a family who does not apply or qualify for tuition assistance can expect to pay for the 2025-2026 academic year.
